All of our products start out as retired climbing ropes. They are donated by climbers, climbing gyms, and friends. Once I receive the ropes, the first step is to wash them. Using the bathtub and some laundry detergent, I do a hot wash, then a good rinse. At this point ropes are ready to be cut to specific lengths that correspond to certain toy or leash designs. For leashes webbing and hardware are added. The final product is mostly or completely made from a recycled resource! Our leashes and toys are durable and functional.
When you purchase one of our products you are making a statement. You support sustainability, re-using or upcycling materials instead of putting them into a landfill, and since a portion of each sale is donated to local animal shelters, you are supporting animal welfare! What a great way to have a positive impact on our community!
Currently all ordering will be through PayPal. You will need an account (which is EXTREMELY easy to set up) to place your order. Shipping is by USPS priority mail only at this time. Happy shopping!
